Will's 29th(ish)

CONFIRMATION OF DETAILS -  JULY 2024

20th July Henley on Thames 4pm onwards at the Jacobini riverside terrace followed by kick ons in the Jacobini upstairs cocktail bar.

A tab running for wine, beer and nibbles to get us started followed by cash bar. Cocktail bar, music and more.

Excuse the delay, in short my last few months have been dominated by a very challenging job change and I wasn't sure I would be over here, then of course Henley Royal pushes things back. I hope you may still be able to join.

Partners, mistresses welcome. Infants too, if they're yours.

Whether you're here from overseas, coming in from London or in Henley yourself, I'd love to see you there! Details below.

Grateful for confirmation of RSVPs below...since i started sending this around 2 years ago.

Venue

4pm-11pm (or until it gets cold) Jacobini river terrace, see map HERE.

For those with stamina and the appetite, Jacobini Wine Gallery upstairs (or magoos - numbers dependent). All walkable.

See info on transport and accomodation options below.

Getting Here

Train

5 mins walk from Henley station. Last train is 2 minutes past midnight! Approx 1hr15m to London.

Taxi

Easy and cheap enough to split to west London or closer, in particular. See the RSVP for sharing Taxis!

Driving

Very easy to drive in to and park in Henley outside of the regatta weekend so you should have no problems!

Dress and Vibe

Dress smart casual - come as you are comfortable. Or uncomfortable, as I hear fashion hurts (I do not partake).

Vibe will be relaxed catch ups, flirting and sipping rose followed by a gradual decline in to chaos. That's just a forecast. Results not guaranteed.

Staying Locally

By train or taxi, it's all doable from London. However, while staying in Henley is an option and a gerat idea, you may find cheaper local accomodation in places like Marlow, Reading or Maidenhead.

PS

19th July - London

Not part of the event, but I'm going to Abba Voyage on the 19th of July. If you've been, you'll know why. If you haven't, come find out...it's fabulous. All welcome.
